The
Community Development Department is responsible for providing
efficient, smart, sustainable and timely planning of Montgomery’s
existing, ongoing and future development. This is done through
the use of well established and innovative planning practices
and techniques. The department also provides customer service
assistance and public education to the petitioner and the
community throughout any planning process. The Community Development
Department performs a variety of functions
as well as works to implement its Vision
Statement. The department employs a Director of Community
Development who manages two Planners, a Building Inspector
with duties of Code Enforcement Officer and an Administrative
Assistant.
