Montgomery Community Policing
The Montgomery Police Department strives to continue to have an active community policing program.Community Policing is a collaborative effort between the community and the police department to identify crimes and to find solutions.The Montgomery Police Department values the partnerships created within the community from crime prevention programs, such as Neighborhood Watch and National Night Out.The Community Policing Division offers many programs that serve the public by educating the citizens in the community; the Police Department has a wide variety of free educational brochures.

A newer crime prevention program implemented by the department is Crime Prevention Notices.While on patrol, if officers see a potential crime or security issue they will leave a crime prevention notice for the resident. The Montgomery Police Department plans to continue expanding its commitment to Community Policing.
