Senior Citizen Activities at Montgomery Village Hall

Senior Lunch and Activity

A lunch and activity for Seniors are held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Montgomery Village Hall, located at 200 N. River Street in Montgomery. The activity may vary from month to month, but will always include lunch for the Seniors.  The cost for the Senior lunch is $4.00 and reservations are required one week in advance. Other activities may include seminars, games and Bingo.

Typically there is a presentation preceding the lunch at 10:00 a.m. in the Village Board Room. Past presentations have included musical performances, "how to" classes (such as how to use Facebook and how to trace your family tree), and various presentations on social security benefits, health-related topics and other topics of interest.

Information on the activities for the month are posted on the calendar on the home page of this website. For information or to sign up for the luncheon, contact Toula Coffey at (630) 896-8080 ext. 9023.

Dime Jingle

The Village of Montgomery hosts a Dime Jingle game on the third Wednesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Village Hall. This is part of the Village’s Senior Program. No skills are needed for this simple game. Just come to have fun and maybe take home some winnings!

For a $2 admission charge, the Village will provide the $1.90 in change needed to play the various rounds of the game as well as light refreshments. Please sign up one week in advance at 630-896-8080 ext. 9023.
