Overview
This committee works on beautification projects through the Village of Montgomery, such as banners and flower plantings.

Mission: To positively impact the beauty of the community and enhance cultural opportunities for the Village of Montgomery through plantings, gardens, enhancement of natural habitats, and encouragement of the arts through volunteer efforts.

The Beautification Committee has big plans for the future! The Committee launched a bluebird attraction project in the spring of 2012.  Committee members have already built and installed 50 bluebird houses around the Village and are anxiously monitoring the nests.  The Committee also oversaw the enhanced flower bed project located in several parts of town, including the recently repainted "Welcome to Montgomery" signs that serve as gateways to our community.

Village of Montgomery businesses and residents alike are invited to participate in the "Business Planter Program", and each April residents receive forms for the "Adopt-a-Flower-Box" program to sponsor flower boxes on the Mill Street bridge. For more information, please email Trustee Bond or Director Hoppenstedt. Additional participants are always welcome!

The Beautification Committee has a photo gallery you can visit.

Committee Adviser and Liaison: Director of Public Works Todd Hoppenstedt with assistance from the Village Arborist Ed Pfaff.

All meetings are open to the public. Meetings are generally held at the Village Hall on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. Public notice is posted at the Village Hall at least 48 hours prior to any meeting.
