Voter Registration

Montgomery residents in Kane and Kendall counties are able to register to vote at the Village Hall. A resident who has never registered with either County before must meet the following qualifications:

  • A citizen of the United States by Birth or Naturalization
  • Eighteen (18) years of age or over by the date of the next election
  • Reside in: State-30 days; Precinct-30 days by the next election
  • Two forms of identification are required, one of which must include the current residence address. These forms of identification shall include, but not be limited to any of the following:

    Drivers License
    Social Security Card
    Birth Certificate
    Employee I.D. Card
    Student I.D. Card
    Credit Card
    Library Card
    Insurance Card
    Selective Service Card
    Civic Membership Card
    Fraternal Membership Card
    Union Membership Card
    Professional Association Membership Card
    Utility Bill
    Checking Account
    School Record
    Telephone Book
    City Directory
